The historical buildings and curiosities of Horsham District

By Ian Mulcahy

Old Britain Home

Horsham is a medium sized market town on the upper reaches of the River Arun in West Sussex that was first documented in the year 947. Horsham is also the name given to the wider administrative district that surrounds the town, and this extends from Rusper in the north east to Steyning and Bramber in the south east, and from Rudgwick in the north west to Amberley in the south west; a total area of over 200 square miles.

This page is an index of the historical buildings and curiosities that I have photographed and investigated within tthe district's modern boundaries. This will be a work in progress so please bookmark and visit regularly for updates.
