Outwood Mill
Surrey
By Ian Mulcahy
Outwood Post Mill on Outwood Common, Surrey is the oldest working Post Mill in Britain.
Built on Outwood Common in 1665 by Thomas Budgen (a year before the great fire of London), this historical mill was working commercially right up until 1996 and can still mill corn if required.
