West of Ifield from the air
AT THREAT OF DEVELOPMENT

Main Video index | Aerial Video Index

This is Ifield Golf Course, Ifield Brook Meadows and the strategic gap between the towns of Crawley & Horsham. To locals, Ifield Golf & Country Club is an oversubscribed leisure facility laid out in 1927, the land having been gifted to the community by Sir John Drughorn; Lord of the Manor of Ifield. Ifield Brook Meadows and the Parish Fields are meadowland and farmland which are prone to flooding during the wetter months and the strategic gap is a green space, rich in wildlife, which serves as the lungs of Crawley which, don't forget, is home to a busy international airport.

To developers, this is the West of Ifield Scheme.

This video is a record of what we have now and was filmed on 29 April 2023.
