Ifield Millpond
(Gossops Green side)

The grey/black line across the northern and eastern skies is the plume of smoke from the Ashdown Forest fires on the day that these photos were taken.

 

 

 

 

Ifield West, beyond the pond.

 

Just behind the Mill is The Millbank with Rusper Road playing fields beyond and Ifield Church above.

 

Ifield & Gossops Green. The white building to the right of centre is ICC with Manor Green school just to the left. Ifield Park care home is just to the left of centre.

 

Gossops Parade is to the left of an below centre and the hospital is just above the centre. The white crescent shaped building to the right is St Wilfrids with the Town Centre beyond. Towards the top of the photo is the Sandman Hotel and Milton Mount flats in Pound Hill.

 

This photo clearly show sthe two plumes of smoke rising from Ashdown Forest in the distance. The trees in the centre are Woldhurtslea Woods, complete with phone mast, and st Wildrids, with the Town Centre behind, is to the left.

 

Holy Trinity in the centre of the photo. Southgate West is above and to the left of the school and Bewbush to the right. The Broadfield Stadium is a little way above the far right of the schoolbuildings with Tilgate beyond.
