The first set are taken at the eastern end of Kilnwood Lane at the point where it is no longer possible to continue by car.
Looking south east across Kilnwood Vale, Bewbush, Broadfield and Buchan Park. Holy Trinity is towards the top left and Cottesmore golf course towards the top right.
Looking south towards Holmbush, which is a little right and above centre at the top of the open field. Kilnwood Vale is to the left and the railway track runs diagonally across the centre of the photo.
Looking west along Kilnwood Lane. Faygate is visible towards the top left.
Looking north west towards Lambs Green. The diagonal path across to the middle of the two green fields is the footpath to Lambs Green from Ifield West and Croudace, next to the Lamb, is the white area above the fields.
Looking north across Hyde Hill Woods towards Gatwick. Ifield West is on the right.
Looking east across Crawley
Ifield West. The millpond and mill are just to the right of centre. The Hospital, the Sandman Hotel and Milton Flats are all visible in the distance in the top right quarter.
Ifield west to the left of the railway and Bewbush to the right. Town Centre is in the top left quarter. Gossops Parade and The Windmill can be picked out in the same quarter by the eagle eyed.

Working the land.
The following set of photos are taken from the Faygate Lane end of Kilnwood Lane where the footpath from Faygate playing fields to Seers Croft crosses the road
Looking west towards Wimlands Lane. In the centre is the Wimlands Lane/Kilnwood Lane crossroads on Faygate Lane and on the left in the top quarter is Durrants Copse in Faygate. Horsham is in the distance
Looking towards Rusper which is visible in front of Leith Hill.
Looking north across Lambs Green (the white area to the left of centre and about a quarter of the way down is the Croudace compound) towards Box Hill. Gatwick is top right.
Looking east along Kilnwood Lane towards Crawley. Kilnwood Vale is on the right.
Looking south towards Holmbush which is in the top right quarter. Kilnwood Vale to the left and the A264 runs across the middle of the top half of the picture.

The building just left of centre is Carylls Country House on Faygate Lane, which runs across the lower half of the photo. The Green field in the top left is the field at Old Park Farm through which the footpath from Wimlands Road to Horsham Road (which it joins near Green Lane) runs.
Looking north west towards Rusper, which can be seen in the top left quarter. The house left of centre is Seers Croft, formerly a vets, on Faygate Lane which joins the photo on the far left in the middle and then turns to go up the centre of the photo. Box Hill is in the top right corner.
Looking north, Lambs Green is on the left of centre and the woods in the bottom left quarter are 'Furze Field'. To the right and just above centre is the building that was formally The Gate Public House and above and just to the left of that is The Mount.
Looking north east towards Gatwick over House Copse, the woods across the middle. The light green fields in the centre, just below Gatwick are the fields west of the brook at Ifield Brook Meadows and you'll see the church if you view full size. The white buildings in the top right are those of Manor Royal.
