Looking eastwards along Green Lane towards the Rusper to Horsham Road. Crawley is visible in the top left quarter.
A southerly view towards Horsham, over the quarry in Langhurstwood Road.
A slight turn to the right, with the landfill to the right of the quarry, which in itself is a possible future landfill site.
Looking westwards
Looking north west towards Leith Hill. Box Hill is to the right.
Looking northwards along Langhurstwood Road. Lyne House is visible in the top left quarter. Gatwick and Manor Royal are top right.
Back to an eastwards view, the buildings across the centre are on the bridleway to the Nunnery which starts at the crossroads where Old Holbrook meets Green Lane. In the top left is Crawley Town centre, with the college tower easily spotted.
Looking south east across Hurst Hill. The join of Old Holbrook and Green Lane is on the far left of centre.
South towards Horsham. The quarry edge is on the right.
The quarry
Landfill and quarry to the left with Broadlands business park to the right
Looking west into the sunset. The houses on the far right about a quarter of the way down are the southern end of Kingsfold on the A24.
A north west view towards Leith Hill with Kingsfold to the left. Just above centre is the (currently named) Apollo Motor Company on the eastern side of the A24 just north of Kingsfold.
A slight turn to the right. The Hanson Brick works on the A24 is above and to the right of centre. Box Hill is in the top right corner.
Looking north, Lyne House is a little way above centre.
Looking north east towards Gatwick, with Rusper village just in front. The church tower is visible when viewed at full size.
Looking towards Crawley, where the town centre buildings can be picked out top centre and to the left the Sandman Hotel, at Hazelwick Roundabout, and Milton Mount flats at Worth Park are also conspicuous.
