Looking south across The Oaks and Gainsborough Road playing field towards Campbell's Lake
Looking south west towards K2, Thomas Bennett and the Broadfield Stadium. Tilgate Parade is in the centre of the photo. The long vertical road on the right is Shackleton Road and Ashdown Drive is on the left.
North west towards the Hospital and Town Centre. On the right are Hawth Woods, with Southgate Playing fields and the college tower beyond. County Mall is above and to the left of Southgate Playing Fields and the hospital is near the top in the centre. Leith Hill and Box Hill make up the horizon.
Looking north over Hawth Woods towards the airport. The Hawth Theatre is on the right of the woods
North east over Furnace Green towards Three Bridges Station, which is top centre. The Paymaster building is in the top left quarter and in the top right quarter are the regimented lines of the Norwich Road estate, behind Furnace Green shops. Beyond the railway are Maidenbower to the right and Pound Hill to the left, separated by the curved line of trees which mark Worth Way.
Looking east over Furnace Green towards Turners Hill and Maidenbower. Oriel High is left of centre, close to the top. Just above centre are the Cheese Houses off St. Leonard's Drive, built on the site of the old Tilgate Furnace, and to the right the woods mark the site of the furnace pond. The roundabout just left of centre is that at the junction of Weald Drive and St. Leonard's Drive.

Looking south west across Tilgate towards Pease Pottage. Ashdown Drive is cutting the bottom right corner and the running track at K2 is just visible on the far right near the top.
Looking across Tilgate towards Target Hill. At the top left are the radar and water tower at Cottesmore and in the top right is Kilnwood Vale. Below the trees (and the tree covered Broadfield) is K2, Thomas Bennett and the Broadfield Stadium. Tilgate Parade is to the left of and below centre and Ashdown Drive forms an S shape on the left of the picture.
Looking across Tilgate and Southgate, Southgate Church and Parade and The Downsman are in the centre of the photo and the allotments in Baker Close are to the right of centre. Left and above Southgate Church, Southgate West, standing on Hoggs Hill, pokes it's head out from behind a clump of trees that surround the footbridge by the Half Moon. On the left of the hill you can see the cube shape of the shops and immediately above that building is the Mormon Church in Old Horsham Road.
Looking towards the familiar buildings of Crawley Town Centre, Hawth Woods are on the right with Southgate Playing Fields beyond.
A small turn northwards, with Hawth Woods across the centre.

Three Bridges Station is just above centre with Waterlea water meadows on the right, in front of the railway shed. Furnace Parade is on the far right, just below centre and Paymaster is on the far left, just above centre. Furnace Drive runs from the bottom left corner.

Maidenbower fills across the picture just above centre and Forestfield estate is left of the trees with the Cheese Houses below. Weald Drive is across the bottom of the photo.
