Location one. 200 metres north of Dene Farm
A north westerly view towards Dorking. The village of Leigh is in the centre of the photo and Box Hill is to the right of the horizon. In the bottom left quarter is Swains Farm. The spire of Brockham church can just be seen below Box Hill.
A north easterly view towards Reigate. On the right of the horizon is Reigate Hill, with the TV antennae atop.
Looking east, Reigate is on the left, just below Reigate Hill on the horizon.
Looking roughly south east towards Gatwick, which is on the horizon to the right of the photo. Stumblehole Farm is just below centre, surrounded by trees, with its driveway leading to Deanoak Lane
Looking roughly south south west, Dene Farm is bottom left and Deanoak Lane runs almost horizontally across the centre of the picture. On the left, just below the horizon, is the runway and a hangar at Gatwick with some of Crawley's buildings just about visible, if not identifiable, beyond.
Looking west towards Leith Hill, Swains Farm is just right of centre. The collection of buildings to the left of centre is Ashurst Farm on Smalls Hill Road.
The zoom has now been doubled as we look north towards Boxhill. The spire of Brockham church is now clearer. Leigh Place is the white building, just to the left of centre.
A slight clockwise turn to the east, looking towards the eastern end of Box Hill.
North easterly view towards Reigate and Reigate Hill. In the bottom right quarter is Bures Manor.
Bures Manor is now bottom left and Reigate is in the top left quarter. Reigate Grammars Hartswood Sports Ground is just to the left of centre.

Looking south east towards Gatwick, which is visible in the top right quarter.
A southerly view towards Gatwick and Crawley, both visible along the left side of the horizon. Deanoak Lane runs horizontally across the middle of the photo.
Looking south westwards across the Surrey and Sussex countryside. No easily identifiable landmarks can be picked out. Chantesluer Farm, near Norwood Hill is, however, visible towards the bottom of the top left quarter.
Looking south south west towards the southern end of Leith Hill. The collection of buildings to the left of centre is Ashurst Farm on Smalls Hill Road.
Location two. A little south of Herons Head Farmhouse
Looking north towards Boxhill. Rigdens Farm is on the right and Leigh Village is just right of centre.
Looking roughly east over the modern day Herons Head Farm (in the foreground). In the top left quarter is Reigate.
Looking south east over Norwood Hill towards Gatwick
Looking roughly south south west across the Surrey and Sussex countryside. No easily identifiable landmarks can be picked out, though Gatwick and Crawley can just be seen in the top left quarter.
South west across the countryside towards the southern end of Leith Hill. Just above the centre the rooftops of Newdigate can just be seen.
West towards Leith Hill. In the top right corner, one of the tower blocks of Stubs Hill, in Dorking, is visible.
Looking north east over Rigdens Farm, in the foreground, towards Reigate Hill.
Looking eastwards towards Sidlow. Reigate is in the top left and the Grammar Schools sports ground is easily picked out. The line of houses to the right of the photo is Deanoak Lane.
A south easterly view towards Gatwick. The gentle slopes below the airport are those of Norwood Hill.
A southerly view towards Crawley.

Looking a south western direction towards Newdigate, whose rooftops can be seen between the trees. The building in the centre of the photo is the 14th century Parkhouse Farm.

North west towards Dorking. Both of the tower blocks can now be seen from this angle. The dead straight line of tall thin trees just right of centre are on the driveway to Hall Farm in Gadbrook Road.
