177 ground and match photos from what was a poor spectacle of a match between step 6 Canterbury City of the Southern Counties Eastern League Div One and Lordswood, of the same league's Premier Division. Neither side looked as though they would score and after 50 minutes I felt compelled to ask the linesman if Extra Time was on the cards and he advised, perhaps fortunately, that we would go straight to penalties. The only Canterbury player to score his spot kick was goalkeeper Tom Benham, with Aaron Lee-Wharton in the Lordswood goal making two good saves and another kick sailing over the bar. Benham also made a save, but to no avail.
This match will be memorable only for being forgettable.
