Crawley Down Gatwick Football Club
The Haven Sportsfield
12 aerial photographs
12 aerial photographs of The Haven Sportsfield, home to Crawley Down Gatwick Football Club who were formed in 1993, initially as Crawley Down Village, by the merger of Crawley Down United with two local other local clubs. The 'Village' suffix was dropped in 1999, being replaced with 'Gatwick' in 2012 to reflect the clubs location, which is less than 5 miles south-east of the runway at Gatwick Airport.
Having missed out on promotion to step 5 in 1999 due to a lack of floodlights, the club installed them, along with a new stand, in 2007. The certified capacity of The Haven is 1,000.
