Cray Wanderers were formed in around 1860, which makes them London's oldest Football Club. Having played at numerous grounds in the intervening period, the club commenced a groundshare arrangement at Bromley's Hayes Lane in 1998 when new ground grading regulations determined that they had to have floodlights to remain in senior football.

After many false starts, the club finally had a ground to once again call their own when they hosted Corinthian Casuals in a friendly match at their new Flamingo Park home in Chiselhurst in the London Borough of Bromley on 5 March 2024. With work still ongoing it would be another five months before the ground saw it's first competitive match which was an Isthmian League Premier Division match against, fittingly, local rivals Cray Valley Paper Mills on 13 August 2024 - a match which the visitors won by two goals to nil in front of a crowd of 840.

The grounds capacity is 3,000, 300 of which are seats and 840 remains the grounds record attendance at the time of writing, though this will surely be beaten soon.

**UPDATE 12 October 2024. The record attendance was indeed beaten soon; 1,222 witnessed todays FA Cup 4th qualifying round defeat to Tonbridge Angels.
