Todays (almost) 10 mile ride took us once again through the Brook Meadows, turning west before the church across the fields to Ifield Wood.

Heading north on the footpath next to Pockneys farm and turning left on the brow of the hill led us to the eastern end of The Mount, which we followed to Peters Farm on Langhurst Hill, before following some very narrow paths downhill to Venters.

From there, it was a steady climb to Rusper and the Star Inn for fuel, before turning back on ourselves and heading back down the hill, turning right before Venters and cutting behind Chowles to Lambs Green.

The final leg home took us along the path beside the Lamb and across the wheat fields to Kilnwood End and Stoneycroft Walk in Ifield West.
