A 4 mile, 2 hour walk from Ifield Golf Club to Ifield Green, via Ifield Brook Meadows and back again via the village.

From Whitehall Drive we walked along Rusper Road and then entered the Meadows via the footpath beside Brook Cottage. We jumped the Mill race very early on and walked through the woods between the race and Ifield Brook until they join, behind the northern end of Rusper Road playing fields, where we jumped back across.

We then followed the brook down to the bridge behind the church where we crossed the brook to follow it beside the wheat fields on the Horsham side of the water! We then crossed again using the bridge behind Newstead Lodge and made our way across the Green where the cricket pitch was being prepared for an afternoon match. We left the Green through the hedge behind the Royal Oak and walked to Langley Lane, venturing down as far as the Meeting House. We then turned back to the Green and skirted the other side of the cricket pitch, joining Rectory Lane by the Lodge and gates to The Old Rectory.

Passing through the Village and Churchyard we then started our return journey using the path behind Aldingbourne Close & Ruspers Keep, crossing Rusper Road playing field before eventually returning to the footpath beside Brook Cottage and retracing our steps home.
