Just a point seperated the two teams at kick off in this top of the table clash between the third and first placed sides at The Shooting Field and after 15 minutes it looked as though these league positions would be reversed as the hosts raced into a two goal lead in front of a seasons best crowd of 184. By the 75th minute however, thetables had turned and it looked as though Alfold would increase their lead at the top of the table as they turned the game on it's head and lead 3-2. As the match entered the last minute of injury time, a Steyning corner was flicked on and a header looped over the Alfold keeper to level the scores.
