A 10 mile circular walk from the Surrey Oaks
74 photos from a walk around Newdigate & south west Leigh
22 June 2020

Our 10.25 mile circular walk started on the footpath next to the Surrey Oaks in the Parkgate area of Newdigate and headed north to Ewood Mill (formerly a furnace & forge, which ceased iron production in 1582) before heading north east to Shelwood Cross. We then headed south east to Park House Farm, an isolated 14th century farm house and then southwards to Blanks Lane and on to Cudworth Manor. From Cudworth we headed west to Newdigate befor eturning north east back to the Surrey Oaks.
