Our route took us from Ifield West alongside the golf course to Lambs Green, via Stumbleholme. At Lambs Green we took the the footpath that runs behind Chowles, crosses East Street and joins the West Sussex Border Path just east of Rusper. This lead us all the way to Russ Hill, from where we descended via the bridleway to Prestwood Lane, with a small diversion to the footpath that passes Upper Prestwood Farm, which we then followed to The Mount. We rejoined Rusper Road at the Ifield Wood junction, having walked down the long winding driveway from The Mount and finished our walk by retracing our steps alongside the golf course and back to Ifield West.
