Ockley, Surrey
22 September 2020

Starting from the cricket pavilion at the southern end of the village I walked along the western side of the green before ducking down a footpath to Jayes Park. I returned to Stane Street, the Roman road from London to Chichester, via Forest Green Road and then headed southwards back past the village green. After a quick detour eastwards on Friday Street to find a suitable and safe place to fly my drone from, I continued southwards along Stane Street to the end of the village, though not the parish. I then walked westwards across countryside on the public footpath from the end of Elmers Road, turning northwards at Parkland Farm and following the bridleway back to Weavers Pond on the village green.

I also made a quick stop at the Church on Coles Lane on the way home.
